Baptism and joy in prayer

Today was a very busy day I have just been trained to be a cleaner supervisor so i have the responsibility to make sure the whole hostel is clean. It was crazy because we had 72 beds to clean.
I went to Marcos baptism this evening at 5pm
Marco is an old cleaner of ours from Estonia he has a crazy story of seeking God and purpose in life. Crazy how he ended up in Amsterdam and how eventually everything he owned was stolen. He had a few shelter staff guys really take time to listen and talk to him and lead him to the Lord.
Its so cool to see how much he has changed through his journey. He has really been touched by the hand of God.
The baptism was really cool as some staff played for worship and one of the night man spoke about growing in the Lord and the culture shock that can be experianced through going from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light.
I love to see and hear real testimonies and see the evidence of Gods work in this place.
It makes me feel ashamed because i don't feel like i completely trust God or believe God for the impossible for the crazy things to happen like these lives He has touched and turned around.
I want to walk in Gods confidence.
After the baptism a few of us went to the Shelter Jordan (my hostel) for dinner.
After dinner i got a chance to talk to an old cleaner from Hungary.
I asked if i could pray for him.. we hung out and had a really good talk about God and the power of prayer... and also what He wanted to give to God. I'm so thankful for that oppertunity to pray for him. He also had a chance to process the last weeks and thank God for His goodness in His life.
Life is exciting as I continue to explore God.

oh one other cool thing is that Gods been waking me up early every morning like 1/2 hr earlyer then my alarm to hang out with him its been so good!!!

God is good thanks for being part of my life and tuning in
God bless

God is good - all the time!

Thanks for sharing your adventures in Amsterdam with us. I remember Marco (guitar-player?) from my time there. He definitely has the joy of the LORD in him. :)
